Great service, great food. Just fancy enough to count for a special occasion, just casual enough to go often. Order extra crab claws.
-
Absolutely phenomenal service and food, no question. The mussels and crab claw apps were perfectly cooked. My only complaint is for the size of their servings- unlike most Italian restaurants, this place leaves you hungry for more. The focus here is quality, not quantity, and for me, if I’m spending $17 on eggplant parmigiana I wanna leave full. I would return for a date night over a family dinner night, for sure.
-
Love this place. Modo Mio is my favorite and you get amazing flatbread at the beginning of your meal.
-
This place is AMAZING! Some friends brought us here and recommended a couple dishes. The Polo Monsignore is absolutely the BEST Italian dish I have ever had! I dislike mushrooms and their texture and I cleaned my entire plate! If you are craving Italian, check them out! Their bread is delicious as well!

Where do I begin? I have been going to Momo’s consistently for almost my entire life, in fact my parents were going there before I was even born. I remember every single change they’ve gone through from renovations to locations. I have never found better Italian food in my life. Having travelled across the country for school, I always craved their food. Whenever I come back to visit family or friends I always go to Momo’s before I leave. Not just that, my parents have remained close friends with the restaurant’s owner since they were first dating at the restaurant. They always greet me with a smile and welcome us with open arms. I would highly recommend that everyone try this food once in their life. To me, this food will always remind of my home, my family, and my friends. Please come here if you want to have some of the most fantastic Italian food in your life at very reasonable prices!

Momos has been a favorite of ours for years. We love taking family and friends here for special occasions. The food is from scratch and hands down the best in dallas if not the whole state. Hoss treats you like family and he is very hands on with all staff operations to make sure things are always running smoothly. Staff is exceptional and food/ambiance is amazing. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks momos!!
-
Food is consistently delicious, and service always exceeds expectations. New location is beautiful!
-
Excellent and friendly service. Very clean. Food was fresh and well flavored.
-
Great food, consistent service, fair prices

Fantastic food, excellent service, and very safe. Highly recommend!

Great food. Perfect portions Reasonable prices. A real gem.
-
Amazing service, fantastic food. We've been frequents for a few years. Love the new location.
-
My brother Hoss, Thank you for the hospitality and 5star quality food and selections. Never a disappointment at Momos. Sad to see you leave uptown but I will follow you anywhere my brother.
-
Dinner snd service was superb. Started with the special watermelon salad and the menu arugula salad. Delicious . Main course was the carpaccio appetizer and the entree lasagna. Both were superior! My husband and i loved our meal. The dessert was complimentary tiramisu and it was the best we have had in Dallas. Very light, flavorful and melted in your mouth. Great taste bud sensations. Highly recommend. Our waiter was Carlos, who made the evening extra special. We will be back soon!
Masks were worn by all the staff and customers wore masks to their tables! -
Holy guacamole!!! I am a picky eater but WOW this place is the best I promise!!! First off, the best Alfredo sauce in town and the pasta and chicken are so fresh (made to order) AND the dessert was just as amazing. Def will be coming back to this spot!!! Try it, you will not regret it.
-
Ordered take out and everything was delish!! I ordered the Rotolo Verde.
It has been a minute since I've been to Momo's, I'm glad its still good!
-
We love it! The food and the service is amazing. Great place to hang out!
-
Great take out. Timely prepared and large portions. Really loved the scallopini al limone.
-
Marvelous dining experience at Momo’s! Great weather and a patio table made for a wonderful evening! The angel hair pasta was heavenly and a glass of wine to boot! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: After dinner coffee is an absolute MUST HAVE! Love it!
-
Love this place! The food is always delicious (The linguine bolognese is a treat), the service impeccable, and everyone from the owner down is genuinely friendly. There’s a fantastic outdoor patio to enjoy on fair days, too.
-
Older building, but the food was amazing
-
The food was excellent. The bread just melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is very calming and the staff is friendly and helpful when not knowing what to pick because everything looks good.
-
Delicious food and stellar service. Great place for a business lunch or catching up with a friend. It is always interesting to see new artwork by local artists decorating the walls.
-
Great food that tastes homemade. Authentic to the point of having real crystals in their chandeliers instead of cheap, chinese glass ;) We'll be back!
-
Nice Place. Decent Food at affordable prices. Pink Bread was Awesome.
-
I could write a book about how much I love this place! I have been coming here with my family since the late 90’s. This place is authentic and the service is unmatched! I love the food, and the people who work here. To be honest, I recommend everything! I hope whoever is reading this will have the same experience, this place is worth it.
-
Loved it. Wishing the portions were a little bigger but the food was very good and we appreciated the byob style. Did have corking fee
-
Amazing handmade pasta and the owner is super nice. Great place for lunch!
-
Wonderful place. The bolognaise was wonderful. This place was kind of hard to find in the Quadrangle but I would recommend it. Service was a little bit slow but it picked up in the end and the wait staff was delightful.
-
Great food every time I go. The service is excellent and very personable.
-
My top spot for delicious Italian food. dropped in on tues. i will be bringing family next time. i can see why they have a lot of great reviews.
-
Good service and the food drinks and appetizers are amazing. The environment is beautiful and I would definitely come again.
-
Italian food... so tasty. The staff was very sociable and kind. It has a cool feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.
-
This is one of my favorite places of all time. Momo's has so many wonderful memories of my past. Many a birthday dinner here. The new location ( 6 years now) but new to me is such a cool new vibe with food that is good as I remember. We had a Tuesday night date special that was perfect. Quality food that was so tasty and a treat. Must try! You wont be disappointed
-
Ffoooodddd was excellent! Authentic and flavorful. I will most definitely be back
-
The food was amazing, and you can tell it's all handmade, delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially since we went at a quiet time and were the only ones outside. I would have given 5 stars but was irritated by their specials policy. On their website it said for Sunday it was 1/2 off bottles of wine under $50, however we were charged full price for the 2 we bought. When we asked about it, the waiter explained you need to ask for the special pricing before ordering, and also it only applies to the first bottle, and only $5 off anything after that... none of which was listed on the site! The waiter was understanding and took care of us, but I don't like how management handles their specials. Food was delicious and I wish I lived closer!
-
Good food, friendly service. A bit pricey but the atmosphere and location are wonderful.
-
Nice cool place for unique Italian cuisine. Nice ambience and playlist.
-
Great food. Great ambiance. I always come out when I'm in the area. Can't wait to try the brunch!
-
Cozy atmosphere food was delicious alot to choose from and a huge wine list a little pricey but well worth it will be gone back again
-
Italian food, mmm, so tasty. Loved this place from the first taste. Service is typically above par.
-
If you are looking for a nice place to go then I recommend MoMo's Pasta. You will love this setting with the music playing in the background and the service is above expectations
-
My daughter and I had very good pasta dishes (angel hair pasta with pesto sauce and gnocchi al gusta) and the complimentary bread was amazing. However my husband ordered the cozze al vino blanco appetizer which he did not like at all - clams were not all open and some had no meat in them. He also had to ask for a spoon. What actually concerned me however was that all of our dishes were chipped and should not have been used for service and a service fee was added to our bill. The service fee was removed as soon as I asked about it but I wonder how many others paid it? I think a service fee can only be charged with notice is provided prior to ordering. Beware!
-
Nice selection of Italian dishes along with decent wine and beer choices to choose from. Generally a quiet place to enjoy a good meal with someone special.
-
The atmosphere was excellent, the food was perfectly prepared. The service was timely. This was my first time at MoMo's and we loved it. The salmon was off the chain and my hubby's salad was excellent. We will visit again.
-
We rarely get to visit, but we love MoMo's. For years I have gotten the Cacao...tonight I tried a Quattro Formaggi (sp?). My husband got a dish of shrimp/risotto/ peas/veggies. The dishes are so warm and buttery on the palette. Very luxurious. We had two 10 year olds with us who ate simpler meals and enjoyed. Nice wines available. Dimly lit atmosphere. The photo attached isn't the greatest, but it tasted wonderful (I had chicken added). Only downside is parking and walking to find the restaurant... it is not easy (especially if you have someone who is disabled) .
-
This is one of my favorite spots in Dallas. Amazing, fast service and expertly prepared dishes - pasta made in-house and fresh bread every day. They also showcase local art available for purchase. Try the Gorgonzola gnocchi or the paglia e fieno (linguine with mushrooms and prosciutto).
-
Excellent dinner. Nice wine. Friendly service. Can't get any better.
-
I truly liked this restaurant, the food is remarkable, and also the brooms were not bad for public. It was a little chilly inside, definatly was not the very best. The service is excellent. I will certainly take into consideration going back once more if I have the possibility. Me and also my buddy purchased the toast and also we were not let down. My one idea is to keep the chilly outside. Laters!
-
We have no words to describe how delicious the food is. We came today with my Father who loves Italian food. And he was literally blown away! We ordered the Calamari and bruschetta to start. The calamari is the most delicious one they have in Texas. Super fresh and crispy and their house tomatoe sauce is by far the best we’ve ever had. The bruschetta, super fresh delicious and refreshing. For dinner I ordered the Eggplant pargiana and it is by farrr the best I’ve ever had. The flavor is like an explosion of goodness mixed between the wonderful amazing gooey melted cheese. Will definitely come back for it! Our guests including my father ordered the Meatballs and spaghetti. Which of came with an amazingly fresh homemade fetucini pasta instead of spaghetti, which made the dish extraordinary and incredibly tasty. And the Pesto pasta with fresh BasiL and tomatoes on Angel hair Pasta. My father ordered a shrimp scampi (can’t remember the name excatly) and let’s just say that the next time that I looked over, the plate was completely cleared. Lol. The only thing that was left were the tails from the shrimps. He called it by far his favorite Italian dish ever! Which is a lot for him to express! We cannot thank our amazing waiter enough. He truly went above and beyond for us. His suggestions were a huge hit with all of us. And he was so attentive, sweet, and extremely kind and patient with us. We I’ll definitely be back real soon and we HIGHLY recommend!!!!
-
Very good pastas, I really love their caesar salad! It can be pricey but is good and their location is great. Giving four stars because we ordered to go and it was definitely less food and the salad was literally like five pieces of lettuce, they need to improve their to go orders!
-
The food has generous portions & good antipasto! I would have given 5 stars but I found sauce to be a bit salty for my taste. I would definitely return and try some of their items.
-
Great place and the DJ was BADD
-
Beautiful ambience! Great food! Wonderful service!
-
Amazing Conchiegle Modo Mio, do stop here for food! Comfy nice, atmosphere. Service, friendly and helpful. The Conchiegle Modo Mio was definitely a five star-rating, which was recommend by our server. Some dishes were really good as well. Price , was bit high, but worth you pay for.
-
A great place to relax and have great Italian food! It feels like a neighborhood in old New York. Service is great! Can bring your own wine as well. Love this place!
-
I've been coming here for years, and shame on me for not writing a review sooner. The place is awesome. Bring your own wine. If not, Monday night is half price wine. Their pasta is made fresh daily. There are five vegetarian options in the pasta section; which is way more than any other restaurant. They're on Open Table:::Book Em Danno! (Of course you have to be past age 50 to know what that means).
-
Love this place!! Such great customer service. My waiter Carlos was amazing and very friendly! The food was very satisfying and there was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend
-
Quiet lil spot with amazing food and great service! Bottomless mimosas were amazing and the waiter kept them coming, even after we paid. Needless to say I left there feeling fine! Can’t wait until I come back to Dallas!
-
Great food, nice friendly service.
-
Food was excellent, we had the veal parm & riggatoni add chicken. Wine was reasonably priced. All the staff were very attentive and friendly, and they even gave us a free slice of tiramisu after dinner. Will go back the next time we are in Dallas!
-
The food was amazing. Servers very friendly, prompt and accommodating. Bringing your own wine is a plus. Highly recommend to all!
-
We had an excellent experience here at Momo’s. We’re not from this area and stumbled upon it and to our surprise, it’s really good!
The warm and friendly staff, the candlelit ambiance and excellent Italian touches were deliciously appreciated.
We can’t wait to come back!
-
Dinner was great and they went above & beyond accommodating us.
-
Best Italian food in Dallas by far! So glad we found this place.
-
It’s fantastic. Family owned. Great ambiance. Great food. Perfect for a date night or family gathering. Will be coming back.
-
Loved this perfect, intimate spot! Perfect place for our Saturday night anniversary dinner! No wait, and great service!
-
This is a favorite pre-theatre spot for dinner or just a glass of wine (and their wine is always a full pour). Elegant atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly servers, and yummy, yummy food. I've never had anything bad here but usually wind up with the tortelli (the 4-cheese or asparagus). Both are melt in your mouth amazing!
-
The food was diverse included vegan options. They have peach and regular margarita, full bar if you just go there for drinks. If the weather was nice would have been nice to sit outside. They had 5 cakes as desert the tiramisu was amazing fluffy not too sweet. The bread was great too, warm and more like pita went great with the meal and eggplant anti-pasta special. The staff was friendly they let me taste the margaritas before ordering. The main meal gnocchi pasta with Italian sauce could have been better but after some red pepper and Parmesan cheese it was better. I walked here so can't comment on the parking. Was there alone but this looked like a romantic spot.
-
I do have to say that I absolutely love this dining place!
Pros:
+ Great variety of food - there are plenty of options that are sure to please everyone coming in
+ Vegetarian friendly
+ Pink Bread Appetizers are amazing
+ Also provide service to Two Corks and a Bottle - if you're ever across the street and want to try a wine tasting, you can always order food from MoMo's and they'll have it delivered/plated just the way they do in the normal restaurant.Cons:
- A bit pricey - but definitely worth it! -
Super service and food is good too and I will come see you soon. Thanks!
-
This place has awesome food. And whoever heard of bone marrow for appetizer but it was very good.
-
We went to Momo's for dinner on Christmas Day. We made the reservation via open table. We were seated on time and received prompt and courteous service. For starters we had a Margherita pizza and a bruschetta. These were above average, but what really stood out were the entrees-I had angel hair pasta with prosciutto and mushroom, and the rest of my party found their meals equally delicious. Our server had forgotten to place the order for one of our entrees, but more than made up for it by rushing the order and giving us a complimentary dessert.
-
I actually went here two days ago. My family and I were searching for an Italian restaurant, when we came across Mo Mo's Pasta. I love pasta so much.
For an appetizer, we ordered the Bruschetta. The tomatoes were sweet and complemented the other ingredients. For an entre, I decided to order the Tortellini al Formaggio. The ravioli was perfectly closed and the cheeses melted in my mouth. (I also love cheese!!) Also, the sauce was mild, but sweet. It was also an amazing dipping sauce for the bread!
I am someone who adores Italian Food so much! I love everything about it. Luckily, there are a lot of Italian restaurants in the Dallas Area. The food definitely fills me up after a rough day.
-
Warm fresh food, Great service/very polite people and really awesome art.
-
Ordered a giant takeout order on Thanksgiving. I fully realize that some of the quality in food is impacted by getting it to go as opposed to being served on the spot.
Bruschetta - Very basic, underwhelming bruschetta. I'd go with an alternative appetizer.
Capellini ala Momo - Loved the sauce, lots of flavor, tiny shrimp, but a good portion size.
Genovese pizza - Average. nothing super exciting.
Tiramisu - Great dessert. Well made.Again, do not have much to comment since I just stopped in to pick up my food, but the staff was very friendly to me when I came in despite working on the holiday. I brought in a bottle of wine that I was bringing to the Thanksgiving get-to-together I was en route to and asked them if they could open it up for me since I didn't know whether or not there was a wine opener at my destination and they kindly did me the favor.
-
I love Momo’s. When looking for delicious food look no further!
-
Service was fantastic. My dish accidentally came out with mushrooms and the turn around time on the 2nd dish they made, fresh, was phenomenal! The food was amazing! Definitely recommend the pink bread and the tiramisu.
-
Loved Momo's!! We wanted to try out a new place and now can't wait to go back! Chicken piccata was not on the menu but they made it for my husband. I had the risotto. Yummy!!
-
One of the best Restaurant I've eaten at in years. I'll recommend to all just try it once!! Great Service!
-
Had a great time with friends! Food amazing but I had a problem with the service ! Very rude and got ugly stares from one of the bar tenders but other than that everything else was amazing
-
I love this place! Been coming here for over 10 years now!
-
Great food! Great service and prices. Very nice looking place. Pizza is great! Crab claws are great! Bellini’s are great! Tucked back in the back of the strip, it’s quiet.
-
My friends have been coming over here since they were on Knox 10 years+. Love the people, the food, and the family feel!
-
Such a great place. The bread is warm and toasty and the vinegar they had was unlike anything I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. The outdoor seating is so peaceful and it was a perfect day for my date and I. I got the basic dish of pasta Alfredo, but it was anything but basic tasting. It was so rich and creamy and it really blew my taste bud's mind.
My date had the Conchiglie Modo Mio with angel hair pasta which was probably better than mine, but not by much. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, so I don't really get the negative reviews. If you like creamy, rich pasta and aren't afraid to be filled by carbs, then you will also thoroughly enjoy this lovely place.
-
Momo's has the BEST calamari and lobster ravioli in Dallas.
-
Yes finally finding a good home made italian food place is delightful! This place just rocks! The customer service here is fantastic, so is their starter "bread" that is just soo delicious!!! I love this place!!
-
I like Momo's. We went last night and sat outside. Ordered a couple of pizzas as starters, and then I had the sausage risotto. It was good. They are "famous" for their gnocchi. But the greates thing about it is that they allow or encourage BYO. I had a couple of peronis there, but everyone else at the table drank wine that we brought ourselves. We managed to save tens if not a hundred dollars by doing that. I appreciate that Momo's allows this. Food is good and the atmosphere and service are excellent
-
Easily the best Italian food in Dallas. I have been going to the Knox, Addison, Forest, and formerly to the Preston location for over 10 years, and have never been disappointed. I have found them to have consistently amazing service and management. Several of the waiters have been with them for years, and recognize regulars when they come in. The atmosphere is really great for a date, birthday party, or a girls night. They also have some really great specials on food and wine.
-
Momo's is a fantastic restaurant with good ambience, great food, exceptional food quality. The owner is always at the front door to greet your party and seat you at the best possible table. My family and I chose Momo's for our "Night Before Christmas" Dinner this year and it absolutely made our night. It doesn't get much better than a high quality neighboorhood restaurant where you can bring your own wine.
As we walked inside Momo's we were welcomed by the owner and immediately the manager showed us to the table and opened our first bottle. As our bottle of Ghost Block was breathing he then placed a string of nice red glasses in front of us. The first 10 minutes were exceptional service and they continued to go above and beyond the whole night. The owner came by on a constant basis to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Our waitor brought something to munch on before our apps were delivered which was nice. Once our calamari(excellent btw) and other apps were delivered, he topped off our wine and let us enjoy the evening before getting into main course. Main course trailed our second choice of wine we opened for the night which was a Chateau St. Michelle. All of the entrees looked amazing, including pasta arrabiata, gnocchi, tilapia special, and ravioli. The trifecta between the ambience, exceedingly unrivaled service, and high food quality kept us tempted to order desert. After much conversation with family, we were thinking about ordering desert and The manager brought out two rather artistic plates of tiramisu. To die for! Thank you Momo's for making our dinner most enjoyable.
-
Went there for lunch today. I would say their food is not great, not bad, but pretty good. I love the starter salads, its a simple vinegarette, but they also puree green olives that give it a nice saltiness. I had the CAPELLI d' ANGELO alla MOMO and it was pretty good. Frozen shrimp but that didn't bother me. My dad had the CAPELLI d' ANGELO al RAGU d' AGNELLO and it was great. The lamb didn't smell or taste too gamey. I always love getting their pizza's because they have that brick oven and the crust comes out perfect. Overall one of my favorite's Italian restaurants in Dallas. They have two locations, one on Knox and one in Addison on Belt Line. The other Momo's on Forest is owned by a different group, but I think they're related. It's just as good.
-
I love this place!! My husband and I go there every chance we get. The service is always wonderful and fast. The food is nothing but exquisite. I would definitely go with a creamy dish as opposed to a tomatoe dish though. The gorgonzola gnocchi is out of this world. As is the Asparagi noodles with proscuitto. Also, the Tiramisu is some of the best I have EVER had and I love tiramisu. The calamari is pretty good too, especially after you squeeze the lemon on it, it is always cooked to perfection. I cannot say enough, if you want a good creamy pasta in a calm environment with great service and food, go HERE!!!! :o)
-
If you like Olive Garden, please don't go to MoMo's!! MoMo's is authentic Italian, not American-Italian. Try the Modo Mio or Ravioli DiCarne. The pastas are homemade as are all of the sauces and the ingredients are top notch.
-
Great gnocchi, attentive service. Staff always wants to please, and is willing to allow BYOB for a corkage fee. Although, it really isnt necessary to bring your own, as their wine list rocks. They also offer many features and also a half price wine night on Mondays.
-
I really enjoyed everything! It's small and cozy on the inside. Very intimate. I think it's a great place for a date, especially a first date. The outside patio is the same way as well, good for people watching those walking along Knox. The waiters, busboys, everyone...very friendly. Tuesday night is actually Date Night which includes 3 course dinner with a bottle of house wine for about $60. The lasagna melts in your mouth! So delicious.
-
Sat on the patio during one of the 1st nice outside dining days here in Dallas and was very pleased with the food. The prosciutto and melon was a nice start finished off with Lasagna. I will eat here again.
-
I had the fettuccine frittata on their brunch menu. It was really good and flavorful. I got a lot of food and didn't have to pay a lot of money. The table bread was really good too. I could have ate the whole basket. I left full and satisfied. The staff was very friendly.
-
My husband and I have been dining at Momo's for years. The menu is huge and I think we've tried just about everything on it. I love sitting on the patio people watching on Knox. The service is great and it must be a great place to work because the staff never seems to turn over. They have amazing specials as well: half price wine on Mondays, and Tuesdays they have a dinner-for-two special. You really can't beat it.
-
I struggle to find solid Italian food but I was pleased with the meal here! Midrange prices, but the portions are very hearty. We started with a ceasar salad (pretty average) and pink bread, which had sundried tomato and mozzarella. Salty, but flavorful. Their flatbread and herb oil that they bring to the table at the beginning were both extra delicious. I ordered the homemade pasta with mixed seafood and spicy tomato sauce. While not that spicy, it was definitely a tasty bowl. My boyfriend ordered pasta with cocoa, peas, ham and cream and loved every bite. We'll be back to try more solid Italian.
-
I came here for lunch with a friend, upon his recommendation. And it was amazing. the bread was delish and not too filling. The herb garlic olive oil they leave on the table is good I wanted to slather it all over myself. They make their pasta fresh and on the premisis here. You can see the mixer and the little kitchen they work out of. Very quaint. Not a very big place, but who cares! Good people watching since its right next to Katy Trail.
I ordered the Farfalle with the Broccoli, it had a light buttery cream sauce with corn kernels. Not heavy at all but full of flavor. It also came with a little dinner salad with a house dressing that was perfect! We ordered Tiramisu, probably the best I have had, but I normally dont order that....but none the less it was delish. The lady fingers were nice and soaked with liquor, creamy and sweet but not too much. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. My new favorite Italian place in Dallas, hands down. -
This place has hands down the best service, which is why we come back often. We walked in on Xmas day and got a table immediately, even though they were very busy. Special orders and recommendation from the kitchen are no problem if you want anything altered. Love it!!
-
Checked it out one nite with a friend, and it was pretty decent, ordered it dinner TO-GO.
Ordered the following:
CONCHIGLIE a MODO MIO - 15.95 - Shell pasta in a creamy tomato sauce made with imported gruyere cheese, fresh ricotta, pork loin, Genoa salame, chicken breast and pancetta.TLINGUINE BOLOGNESE - 15.95 - Linguine served with a piping hot meat sauce.
Bit pricier than I usually strive for, but it had been quite awhile since i've checked out an italian restaurant.. (been too busy raiding indian restaurants.. taking a break from indian food though now).
Now since it was to-go, I only lived about 10 minutes away, so by the time we got back, my friend's pasta meatsauce thing probably could have used a bit more meat sauce, since on the drive back, the sauce probably zipped into the noodles to keep it somewhat moist but not sauced up though.. he said he wasn't too impressed with it.
My shell pasta dish was awesome though. For a lack of a better description it was cheesy/meaty and full of flavor flav?... pretty large portion too (surprised me, but hey i'm not gonna complain.. bring it on for 16$ )
The cool waiter guy also threw in some breadstick things that were pretty cool too.
Very nice inside also, when I went it was pretty much dead, and I got my order in like 10 minutes to go.. sweet!

After a long bike ride last week, I was a starvin' Marvin. I needed to refuel & a friend suggested we try out Momo's since we were in the area. It was early afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded & we were quickly given a seat on the patio.
Honestly, I couldn't tell you who our server was, because several tended to us as well as the manager. It's fabulous that the staff is able to work in such harmony that way. We certainly never lacked for anything be it water, bread, etc.
Given that my friend & I practically gnawing our own hands off, we went a bit overboard on ordering. We started off with the fried calamari to share. It was a touch too greasy for my liking & the sauce was a little bland, so I wasn't horribly impressed. The calamari itself had a good flavor & the batter wasn't too thick, but it wasn't my favorite thing that day. My friend & I also shared Momo's Salad, which was great. I can't remmeber what all was in it, but it had a light, flavorful dressing to it and was a perfect size to split.
For my meal, I opted for the Gnocchi with Sausage. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked - not too tough, not too mushy and there were large chunks of yummy sausage all throughout the dish. Everything was covered with a light, yet rich-tasting red sauce, which complimented the meat nicely. Sadly, I couldn't bring myself to devour it all, so I boxed up the remainder of this & enjoyed it for dinner the next day. We were offered some dessert, but aside from shoving it in my purse, I don't think I had any place for such a thing.
I love their outdoor patio! It was perfect weather for it and the people watching was a blast. They have to-go ordering, too, just in case you want to enjoy a little bit of Italy at home. Food here is a little pricier than I normally go for, but I could see going here as a nice splurge every once & a while.
-
Brush up on your Italian and try out this truly Italian restaurant off Knox. There is plenty to choose from and there are so many good dishes, so you can't go wrong.
Small and quaint, this little Italy provides you an escape to a little table for two or 10. The menu is slightly different than you would see at other similar restaurants, but the food is amazing.
On the weekends sometimes they have a bottomless mimosa drink special, which makes any day much better.
Parking is either valet or long the street.
-
Cute place! Great for people watching if you're sitting outside on the patio. The restaurant is on the small side, and it's so warm and cozy.
For starters, their bread is delicious. I'm not sure what kind it is, but it has pita bread texture and fluffiness. My whole table was devouring it. For dinner, I had the Tortelli Formaggio and loved it. Appearance-wise, it's a green pasta with an orange sauce, which looked odd to me. Despite my first thoughts, it was so good. I went back the next weekend and ordered the same thing. In my entire life, I've probably cleaned my plate three times (I always come home with leftovers), but I finished this one. They have a pretty extensive menu, so there are a lot of options.
** A note to women wearing heels: Their hardwood floor is VERY slippery. I felt myself slide a couple of times and saw another woman almost take out a table. Walk slowly or hold onto your date!
-
This I would back to over and over. You walk in everything looks sheek, modern and clean. I barely took a step indoors before a very friendly host welcomed me in and sat me down. I can't stress how attentive the staff was. It shows that the owner and managers are really paying attention to who they hire with intention creating a restaurant that will have a future. This is a great place for a date or business meeting. The food is good and they will adjust anything if you a request which is very nice. I plan on coming back again.

Mo Mo's is a hidden gem in uptown Dallas. Wether or not you live here or just visiting, this place is worth checking out. Hands down the best brunch in the city. Eggs Benedict tops breadwinners, and even Nick and Sam's. They also have some of the best Italian dinners around. Located in the quadrangle makes it kind of hidden but really is one of the best.
-
I've been coming here since I was 10 years old. This place is the best. The bread, the people, the food, service, desserts, etc. Their bread is great! I dont' know why, but it's just flatbread with rosemary. Ask for the fresh pesto with it too. Their salads are amazing too. The house salad is interesting and light. Interesting ina good way. Mixed field greens, fresh bell peppers, radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, and walnuts. It has a really light oil and vinegar dressing, and be sure to top it off with fresh ground pepper.
Favorite Dishes:
TAGIATELLE al CACAO pasta made from cocoa with ham and peas and cover with their delicious cream sauce.
GNOCCHI di SPINACI with their homemade marinara on the side.
Lasagna al forno. Amazing. Been eating this since I was 10.
PAGLIA e FIENO mushrooms, cream sauce, proschuitoThere's many other wonderful dishes but those are always my go to. Whenever I have to go to other Italian restaurants, I always compare it to Momo's.
Their new location in the Quadrangle is beautiful. Ask for Jose, he'll take great care of you.
-
Took my parents for lunch today after a long morning walking a local museum. Service was attentive but not pushy. The bread/olive oil/pesto is really good. We also had the calamari with marinara sauce (mom liked the marinara so much she said that she could eat it like soup). We all had salads - salmon salad for me and parents the spinach with chicken. All three were delicious. Will definitely be back.
-
This was literally one of the best meals I have ever eaten in Dallas. As a gluten-free foodie, it's a bit difficult to eat at Italian restaurants. They had homemade gluten-free bread, pizza AND three types of pasta to choose from. While it is a bit more on the pricey side, I would have paid MORE for the deliciousness that awaited my taste buds. The service was exceptional and they gave great recommendations. I opted for the GNOCCHI al GORGONZOLA/FONTINA: Potato dumplings ( I subbed with gluten-free penne) flavored with gorgonzola, Italian blue cheese made with goat's milk, blended with garlic and walnuts in a creamy fontina cheese sauce. #foodporn if I've ever seen it! A must go-to.
-
Loyal customer since the old location off Knox and the food hasn't missed a beat. The Modo Mio is still great and the service is spot on. Very good Italian food for Dallas.
-
My favorite date night spot! Food and Drinks are always generous and they accommodate special diet requests. I prefer eating here later at night bc I like the bar scenery which really starts to pick up (if you want a quiet dinner, come before 10). Owner is a foreign gentlemen who personally greets everyone and is always making sure we are enjoying ourselves...thumbs up all around.
-
I stopped in for a mid week lunch and was surprised that there was no one in the restaurant. The silence and fall attention of wait staff was nice. I was seated by the window and was able to read my book and enjoy fresh bread. I ordered the ravioli with mushroom sauce and pleased by the flavors. I found the filling to be a little dry but still good. The place is very charming!
The few things that bothered me were the dirty bread plate and fork. Also a fly which became a lunch pest.
Overall the experience was good and for someone who loves solitary lunches with a book, I could see myself going back. Just clean your flatware and plates completely.
-
This is my favorite place to take a date. Food and drink is always great. But the service... the service is impeccable. They make you feel important. And it's usually reasonably quiet and not ridiculously crowded with uptown sheeple flocking to the rest of the crowd. Great place. Great service. Great food and wine.
-
I've been going to Momos for almost 25 years. I've never had a bad meal, never had bad service. Momos serves some of the best Italian food in the nation!!!!
-
This was a fantastic find. Six of us were looking to "carb-up" before the Dallas Rock n Roll Half Marathon. Even though they were booked solid they found a table for us. Service was excellent and food was great. Best pizza this side of Rome!
-
This is real Italian one of the best in all of Dallas. The salads are fresh, fresh baked breads, fresh pasta. Everything is authentic Italian!
Just dont expect them to speak Italian... -
OH I LIKE THIS PLACE! First of all, they had me at BYOB.
Second of all, I have a theory - if a restaurant serves up good pre-dinner bread, the food shouldn't be too far off. And again, I was right. They serve you warm pizza dough as pre-dinner bread and the pasta and pizza were both pretty decent. Though, they did admit their dessert weren't homemade. -
My friend and I went here for brunch and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the mimosas were 99 cents! How could you pass that up?
-
I've been a loyal customer since the Knox location. The food is still excellent. I love the Farfalle al salmone. The service is always good. The location is tucked away and hard to find but worth the search.
-
Went to the new Quadrangle location before a Stars game this week and it was great. I hadn't been to any Momo's in awhile so this was a nice welcome back. The weather was nice enough to sit on the patio and the service was great. The server and manager were both attentive and helpful but not smothering. The Penne al Basilico and Rotolo Verde were both fantastic. We'll definitely be back.
-
This place should be busier than it is. Toulouse is directly next door and ALWAYS packed (not that I don't love Toulouse... I adore Toulouse so much!), but Momo's is pretty darn good in it's own right too. I like the outside patio and the wait staff is super nice. It actually feels like you are going to a relative's for dinner. The staff genuinely cares about your happiness with your meal, and you can pretty much customize it to your liking if you ask. That I can appreciate.
I ordered pasta which was pretty good, but I have not tried their pizza yet. If you are in the area, stop by Momo's. It is cute and good and most of all-- it serves up some awesome hospitality.
-
My family and I had tickets to watch Avenue Q at Theater Three and wanted to have a quick bite before the show, so we stopped at Mo Mo's Pasta.
While I wouldn't say it was the absolute hands down best Italian food I've ever had, it was quite good. We ordered two pizzas and two appetizers to split between us and it was the perfect amount of food. They even brought out freshly baked bread and I loved it. There are few foods in life that I like more than freshly baked bread. The service was awesome, and I don't think there was any point where my water glass wasn't full for more than 5 minutes.
A bit of advice, if you're watching a show at Theater Three they will give you a discount with your ticket stub.
-
Fabulous food. Been coming here for over 15 years and love the service and food! They really care about you as a customer and are even willing to customize a plate (for instance, if you don't care for blue cheese they can make the dish differently).
Family run business with GREAT food and pride in what they do!
Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!
-
Mo Mo's is. Great option for BYO. One of the few BYO options in Dallas. Good Italian food with friendly service. And a nice patio.
-
I met some coworkers at Momo's for lunch today and was really impressed! For an Italian restaurant there are quite a few dishes to order and eat healthy. I tried the no carb lunch with grilled salmon, veggies and a salad - it was the perfect size and delicious! My coworkers ordered the chilled asparagus salad with shrimp...it was beautiful and had an assortment of tasty treats in addition to the asparagus and shrimp - cabbage, tomatoes, prosciutto etc. Definitely a hidden gem for a great lunch in Uptown!
-
Margherita pizza, chicken dish were fabulous. Bellinis were amazing and the service was great! Went on a Tuesday night!
-
We came here for a weekday lunch. We were one of the only patrons in the restaurant and by the time we left, I couldn't understand why. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad. The dressing was creamy and tangy and the grilled chicken was moist and tender. My fianc ordered grilled chicken and vegetables, which he loved.
It's hard to believe that each of us enjoyed two relatively light and healthy meals at a restaurant with word 'pasta' in the title.
Well, we were fairly healthy. We couldn't resist the delicious warm fresh bread with seasoned olive oil.
I'd like to see this restaurant do well because I believe it to be a hidden gem tucked away in the quadrangle.
-
Always a go to whether I need a spot for myself, with girlfriends catching up or a big group. Love the food and the staff!
-
BYOB! Need I say more? There's a $10 corking fee, but still a good deal for a couple or group. I had a spicy red sauce dish with capers and olives, it was really good! The bf had a chicken salad that was great too. They bring out this amazing bread to munch on before. Hint: ask for balsamic to mix with the olive oil for the bread. #carbheaven
-
Great service, good food I had no problems at this restaurant I'm actually surprised it doesn't have better ratings. Would definitely recommend it to others.
-
We decided to try a new Italian place tonight and picked MoMo. It was a party of five and the service was good. The wine was priced much better than where we normally go. We got the bruschetta to start off and it was really good. I love warm bruschetta!!! I split the watermelon salad. I really liked their balsamic vinaigrette, but it could've used more greens. I got the rigatoni dish for dinner and it really hit the spot. The serving was just enough. For dessert I ordered an espresso and split the Italian rum cake. I really enjoyed both. The espresso wasn't overly strong and the cake was the best I've had in years. Yum!
-
This place is a hidden gem! Wow great food, great staff, cool atmosphere! Glad we found it. As a gluten free person, I have a hard time going to Italian restaurants but they have the options! We are from out of town but locals should have this as a regular stop!
-
Came here last night with friends while visiting Dallas for the weekend based on their recommendation. Walked in and was very impressed with the ambience. We were seated promptly with no wait. Seems to be a hidden little gem that not a lot of people know about. Started off with the pink bread which was very tasty and flavorful--essentially french bread with sundried tomato spread and mozzarella cheese on top. Main course was a penne dish whose name I don't remember. Was very filling without being overwhelming heavy as some pasta dishes can be. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Would highly recommend checking out if you're in the area.
-
We had tickets to Theatre Three and decided to visit Momo's since we could drink ourselves silly and stumble the 15 feet over to the theater door. Well, maybe we didn't go with that thought, but ended up having some nicely mixed drinks before dinner.
I loved this place! We were greeted by friendly waitstaff and what I think was the manager. Seated immediately and our drink order was taken. I had heard about the bread and olive oil and wow, was it tasty. We ordered salads - mine was the house saiad, which was OK with an nice assortment of vegetables (green and red peppers, cucumbers, sliced radishes, tomatoes, mixed greens). Wished there was a little more of that good dressing. Husband had the spinach salad and they put quite a few red onions on it, so he had to pick them out. He loved the wild mushrooms in it and enjoyed the salad after the departure of the onions.
I had read quite a bit about the cocoa pasta with peas and pancetta, so ordered it, along with DH ordering the angel hair pasta with asparagus. The waitstaff asked if we were going to the theater and said he would make sure we got there on time. We appreciated that.
The Tagiatelle de Cacao that I had was AWESOME. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the combination of peas, pancetta and mouth-watering creamy sauce was oustanding. I couldn't stop (and no, it didn't taste like chocolate - apparently the addition of cocoa adds a nice texture to the pasta, but not the chocolate flavor). They have those cute bowls that tilt toward you - I guess so you can scoop out every last bite. My husband loved his angel hair pasta (Capelli d'Angelo di Asparagi). I thought it tasted good, but couldn't compare to mine. We finished every bite and I was sad, because I had planned on having the leftovers for lunch the next day. Wasn't going to happen - almost licked the bowl. We were too full for dessert, but a waitress walked by with a dessert platter that looked pretty good.
We will visit here again. I recommend reservations on Friday or Saturday nights. After about 7 pm, it got pretty busy.
-
The food is excellent but the service can be bad at times. So if my husband and I have a lot of time and patience we go in person, otherwise we pick up food all the time. It's fresh and they have great vegetarians and gluten free options. The red sauce is super tasty. Have never had a bad or questionable plate. I would give them 5 stars but the service needs to improve.
-
I loved this place! I need a place that could accommodate 8 people for dinner on a Friday night. This place looked promising from reviews I had read and Italian sounded like a great break from the usual Holiday fare.
We arrived at 7 pm and immediately greeted and taken to our table. The restaurant was nicely decorated - a mix of modern with Classic Italian. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive but not pushy. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari to start. The bruschetta as served warm and was a generous portion of 7 pieces which was perfect for our big group. The calamari was outstanding.
For dinner we shared a spinach salad and mushroom risotto. The spinach salad was slight overdressed with a vinaigrette dressing but was topped with feta and red peppers. The risotto nicely cooked and served with a set of freshly grilled veggies. The meal was a perfect portion and hit the spot. The rest of my family order a variety of house pastas that were all fabulous.
We topped off the meal with a trio of desserts - tiramisu, chocolate cake and Italian cream cake. All were delicious and freshly made. Really could not have asked for a better meal. Excellent job!
-
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant -- from the moment I walked in they were attentive (not overly), professional, polite and not contrive in their friendliness. Had a small hiccup, but they quickly addressed my concern and we moved on. Had the football going, comfortable ambiance -- food was good, I'd be open to trying other things on the menu. Wine was stellar -- would I come back -- absolutely.
Pps at the end we got this stellar piece of cake .... Nom nom!!
-
Wow! I haven't been to Momo's since it moved from Knox, but on a rainy cold afternoon we decided to watch a movie and order out. I hate wasting money on pizza that I don't like a lot, so I was a little apprehensive about trying out the new location. I am super glad that we went for it!
They are pretty close to us and I wanted to see the new digs, so we ordered takeout and I walked over: Marghertia pizza is one size and perfect for two and we included the Linguine Bolognese (pasta with meat sauce) and a Tiramisu (which oddly isn't on the online menu).
Pizza: perfect and very fresh tasting, particularly the tomatoes. The crust is a little soft, but great! Maybe ask them to crisp it up a bit next time.
Pasta: incredible for such a simple dish. Meat sauce is all about the meat and theirs is very good and well seasoned. The pasta is house made and you really can tell the difference. Not too little and not too much - finished in the pan and just turned over once. You get a salad with the pasta - we got the Caesar and it was good.
The dessert was good.
It's run you $30 bucks for that, but a few dollars more goes a long way. We cut back the "just okay" places a while back and stopped the chain processed poison entirely, so this was an awesome treat.
Momo's Pasta is now number one in the rotation.
-
A nice pre-theatre dinner. The chicken dishes are all drenched in unusually good sauces; white wines, tomatoes and even mushroom-based sauces cover your plate and spread all over the rice and/or pasta. The chicken itself is a bit dry: could be cooked a little slower, and under less heat. Spices are nice in all dishes. The real champion at this place, however, is their homemade pasta. Ravioli, spaghetti, fettuccini, you name it. A piping hot, soft and creamy, yet bursting with freshness pasta that you can tell has never been dried. All their entrees should be served over pasta (why they choose rice is beyond me). The wine menu is very limited. The service was fast, but we got there early. Our server spoke little English but was polite and attentive. I'm adding an extra star because the prices are SO low. Some of the cheapest Italian I've come across in a long while.
-
Fantastic place! Romantic, small-ish place with low lighting and cozy setup. The server was attentive without being annoying and harassing. The food was indescribable. I don't even remember which pasta I ordered because I must have taken more than 5 straight minutes to decide.
They have plenty of vegetarian and pescetarian options. We didn't get dessert and I didn't see a menu for it, but I'll definitely be trying some next time. Great for a date night.
-
Absolutely delicious. Chicken crepes on the brunch menu are to die for! Great service.
-
Food wise and dietary needs have always been met, they have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. One of my friends was even charged twice once and they refunded her entire dinner and remade the dinner correctly and gave it to her without further charge. It is a nice date place at a great place to grab a glass of wine or just have a cocktail at the bar. They always have amazing art displayed and the employees are always extremely accommodating and are always very attentive of your needs without you having to ask. It's just a very chill laid-back place to go and enjoy the time with friends and family. Highly recommend it!
-
A little more casual than "fine dining" but the food was very good, and both food and wine were reasonably priced. A wide selection of interesting options on the menu. Was too hot to eat outside the day we were there, but there is a nice patio area outside too.
While not huge portions, we can count on taking a little home for the next day if we get both an appetizer and a pasta (and maybe a desert ... the tiramisu is good there).
This place is a little hidden in the quadrangle which may be why it hasn't been full either time we've been there. But definitely will be back.
-
Momo's food was delicious, the staff were nice and it's the best on Tuesday and Thursday nights. 3 course meal for 2 for only $60.
-
We walked in to this restaurant about 30 minutes before closing, and yet they were incredibly accommodating!
They made us feel right at home, and didn't rush us at all. The food was amazing - I had the Lobster Ravioli and it was perfect.
They've got a LOT of options, which is really the only downside. Really cute space in the Quadrangle. Great patio too.
We'll definitely be back!
-
Outside of slighly overdone pasta this was fantastic . Wife mad they shroom risotto I had rigatoni with cheese daughter linguini with Alfredo all very good. I agree the service is a bit slow but red suace was excellent .
-
Had reservations here for Christmas dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how hidden it was from the main street because it was surrounded by a completely closed center.
I ordered the quattro pizza and my mother ordered the XMAS 3-course dinner special.
The pizza crust and pizza sauce was very bland, which shocked me a bit because the free rosemary bread they serve you was incredibly delicious.
I had some of the chicken breast from my mothers' meal and it was incredible! It made me regret ordering pizza.I'll be back here again next Christmas, but I definitely won't order pizza again.
-
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Dallas. Delicious pasta. I especially love the gnocchi. The appetizers are good too. Super friendly service.
-
Was invited here by friends. I have Celiac Disease so I was apprehensive about going to a pasta place for dinner. I called ahead and spoke with the manager. He assured me there were many items that would be safe. When we arrived, our server was kind enough to point out items that would be safe for me or items that they could modify for me. Although they do have gluten-free pasta and pizza crust, I ended up ordering chicken breasts and vegetables. My meal was good and I didn't get sick. Bonus!
-
We've been going to MoMo's for 20 years. We love it. Ask for "green stuff" with your bread and peas alongside your meal. The Capelli d' Angelo ala MoMo is the dish I order every time. It's amazing!
-
Came here on a Tuesday night for a spoken word/poetry event and really liked the atmosphere. It's sort of difficult to find on Routh St. and there's no signage where the GPS says you've arrived (ha)...or is my GPS the only one that does that?!
They have nice dimmed lighting, a nice menu and free parking in the back of the restaurant. They shared a portion of the restaurant which was closed off for this particular event. So cool that they do that! We had a private menu, and from it, I would honestly stick with the Italian options on the menu, as that is their specialty. They had other American options too like turkey burgers, blackened fish etc., but these were just OK.
I'm not a fan of hookah, but that can be requested as well. I found that weird and thought it brought the level of classiness down for the place, but yea.
-
I've been there a few times, for drinks, but this was the first time I actually ate something. I needed something, so the wine wouldn't go to my head.
The house red wine is actually really good. The only way it could have been better is if it had been in a red solo cup and I was watching the new season of Grey's Anatomy before anyone else.
I got the prosciutto con melon. It isn't visually pleasing, as it's just ham with thick slices of melon on top, BUT that melon helped mellow out some of the saltiness and it was lovely! That was some of the best prosciutto that I've ever had.
The wait staff is attentive and friendly, which for me, is slightly more important that certain aspects of whatever I'm consuming.
I forgot that they have gluten free pasta, so I'll have to try that the next time I go.
-
Pasta is homemade-yum! We tried the house and carder salads and a couple of pasta dishes. Delicious! Ambiance and service are inviting and comfy. Weekend brunch menu offers something for everyone. Will try their pizza next time.
-
What a hidden gem! The pasta dishes are so fresh and flavorful. I had dinner with a large group and everyone was very satisfied with their dishes. The bread they serve is like a naan bread and their olive oil to dip the bread into is amazing. And the service was prompt, the food came out so quickly. I will definitely be back so I can try even more if their pasta dishes - they have so many to choose from!
-
Really good Italian restaurant in Uptown. There were lots of people eating here which was a good sign. The decor was modern with really cool pictures on the wall which were all for sale. There was a big fish tank and a TV in the dining room, in case you wanted to sneak a peak at the maverick's game on TV, while eating. The dining room was dark and cozy.
After ordering a bottle of wine, the waiter brought out a basket of bread. The bread was thin, soft, warm and lightly dusted with garlic powder. And with EVOO and salt and pepper on the table, it was almost like a complimentary appetizer! That didn't stop us from ordering the crab claws though. They were sauteed in capers, white wine, garlic and parsley garlic, wine, butter sauce. Delicious. The wife got a Cesar salad with dressing on the side. She liked it, but complained that there wasn't anything besides lettuce and croutons. I think she was hoping for bacon bits.
My entree was the gnocci alla Salsiccia (Gnocci with sausage). The gnocci were delicious, but honestly, I wasn't crazy about the tomato sauce. I can't quite put my finger on what it was, but I think they might have put some cream in it? The wife got lobster and crab ravioli. This was very good. The pasta was homemade and stuffed with lobster, crabmeat served in saffron brandi rose cream sauce and topped with bay shrimp. Delicious!
The service was great and we enjoyed our meal very much.
-
When you walk into this fabulous restaurant you are treated like family. I've been eating at Momo's since 2007. I've always had the best food here. Let me tell you about my favorite item. The tiramisu is literally the best I've ever had in my entire life. It's made fresh and they don't use store bought lady fingers. You must check out this place for dinner or lunch! It's on my top 10 favorite places to eat in DALLAS!!!!
-
I came here for my birthday with a large group and they couldn't have treated us any better! The staff's willingness to accommodate a large party with changes and bring us whatever we needed made us feel comfortable and right at home. They won me over on the service alone but the food is something worth dreaming about. The pasta was to die for as well as the tiramisu! (Which is my all time favorite). At night on the weekends it turns to a more club/bar environment but we didn't feel rushed out at all, which is usually what some places do. I recommend this place to everyone I know for big occasions.
-
Stopped here for dinner while in town for a concert. From start to finish, best meal we've had in a long time.
It starts off with the bread, which is not your typical Italian bread, it's more of a pita bread, but it's paired with a nice bottle of olive oil (loaded with Italian spices) for dipping. Yum.
We ordered the fried calamari and it came out fresh and hot. The batter was so light and crispy. Not chewy at all.
My husband ordered the veal Marsala. Served in a nice gravy with fresh mushrooms, the veal was so tender. The gravy just right, not too heavy or thick. Served with peas and broccoli, a little different than the usually served with pasta you get elsewhere, but still, he loved every bite.
I ordered the linguine and clams with the white wine sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and you can tell it's fresh homemade. The sauce was unlike anything I've ever had with this dish. Loaded with clams that were not chewy at all. There were even a couple of baby clam shells added so the presentation was awesome.
Topping this wonderful meal off was a piece of tiramisu that was also unlike any we've ever had. I can't say if it's homemade or not, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I can't even describe how perfect this tiramisu was.
Service in this restaurant: impeccable. The whole staff is very attentive and friendly. Thanks Momo's for a wonderful meal. -
Everything from the furniture to the food is great, including the darn hand soap. I've eaten here mid day and been the only guest inside an d I've also been here with a full house; the service is always great.
-
Amazing atmosphere and great food. They were fast to get us food and seating. We had so much fun plus its all healthy!
-
So it's $5 drinks at the bar all day, every day. Try the Lemon Basil Martini, I loved it and I don't even like basil. Also the food is great! Had the calamari appetizer - oohh to die for! I should mention I only eat seafood and I am lactose intolerant and they had great options for me!
